Roast Pork Ribs

Ingredients

  • 700g Pork Ribs
  • 2 heaped teaspoons 14 Spice Rub
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Honey

Directions

1. The night before you want to serve, place the ribs in a bowl and sprinkle the dry rub over the top
2. Using clean hands, ensure the spice rub covers all the meat areas. Place in a food freezer bag and place in the fridge
3. When you are ready to cook, bring the meat out at about 30 minutes prior to cooking
4. Pre-heat the oven to 190°C / 375°F / Gas Mark 5
5. Brush some of the olive oil on a foil lined baking tray. Spread the ribs evenly, meat side up
6. Place in the oven and cook for 45 minutes
7. Mix the honey with the remaining oil
8. When the 45 minutes are up, brush some over the meat and place back in the oven
9. Repeat every 10 minutes until you get the right level of crispiness or char that you want
10. Serve with a potato salad and some coleslaw
