Roast Pork Ribs
Roast Pork Ribs
Ingredients
- 700g Pork Ribs
- 2 heaped teaspoons 14 Spice Rub
- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
- 1 tablespoon Honey
Directions
1. | The night before you want to serve, place the ribs in a bowl and sprinkle the dry rub over the top |
2. | Using clean hands, ensure the spice rub covers all the meat areas. Place in a food freezer bag and place in the fridge |
3. | When you are ready to cook, bring the meat out at about 30 minutes prior to cooking |
4. | Pre-heat the oven to 190°C / 375°F / Gas Mark 5 |
5. | Brush some of the olive oil on a foil lined baking tray. Spread the ribs evenly, meat side up |
6. | Place in the oven and cook for 45 minutes |
7. | Mix the honey with the remaining oil |
8. | When the 45 minutes are up, brush some over the meat and place back in the oven |
9. | Repeat every 10 minutes until you get the right level of crispiness or char that you want |
10. | Serve with a potato salad and some coleslaw |
