Cheeseburger Casserole

Ingredients

  • 250g Dried Pasta
  • 1 Large Onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 450g Lean Steak Mince
  • 1 teaspoon Seasoned Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Tomato Ketchup
  • 4-5 Plum Tomatoes (chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon Mustard
  • 200g Grated Cheddar
  • Sliced Dill Pickle

Directions

1. Cook the pasta in boiling salted water until al dente
2. Pre-heat the oven to Gas Mark 4 / 180C / 350F
3. Saute the diced onion in a little olive oil until soft
4. Add the garlic and cook for another minute
5. Add the mince and cook until browned
6. Stir in the salt, ketchup and mustard then the chopped tomato
7. Add the cooked pasta to the meat mixture, then pour into a 9 x 13 pan
8. Sprinkle the grated cheese on top and bake for 15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly
9. Top with dill pickle and serve
