Alfredo Pasta
Alfredo Pasta
Serves | 4 |
Ingredients
- 300g Any dried pasta (fettucini, penne, or tagliatelle works well)
- 250ml Double Cream
- 30g Unsalted Butter
- 100g Freshly Grated Parmesan
- Freshly Grated Nutmeg
Directions
1. | Put dried pasta into salted boiling water and cook as per packet instructions |
2. | In a large saute pan, add the cream and butter and stir over a medium heat until butter melts |
3. | Grate in a little nutmeg, then add the parmesan and stir until melted |
4. | Add a couple of tablespoons of the pasta cooking water to loosen the sauce a little |
5. | Drain the pasta and stir in the sauce then serve with a little additional grated nutmeg on top |
