Alfredo Pasta

Serves 4

Ingredients

  • 300g Any dried pasta (fettucini, penne, or tagliatelle works well)
  • 250ml Double Cream
  • 30g Unsalted Butter
  • 100g Freshly Grated Parmesan
  • Freshly Grated Nutmeg

Directions

1. Put dried pasta into salted boiling water and cook as per packet instructions
2. In a large saute pan, add the cream and butter and stir over a medium heat until butter melts
3. Grate in a little nutmeg, then add the parmesan and stir until melted
4. Add a couple of tablespoons of the pasta cooking water to loosen the sauce a little
5. Drain the pasta and stir in the sauce then serve with a little additional grated nutmeg on top
